1 Star – Unwatchable in all respects, lacking even unintentional comedy.

2 Stars – Awful, but you could watch it once.

3 Stars – Mediocre, but has its moments.  Probably the lower limit for reevaluation.

4 Stars – Fatally Flawed; an otherwise average film with flaws that can’t be overlooked.

5 Stars – Average in every way. Films that provoke ambivalence.

6 Stars – Memorable, has moments of excellence that outshine weaknesses.

7 Stars – Recommended! This film excels in some respect & has good replayability.

8 Stars – Highly Recommended! Well-executed & thought-provoking, an important film.

9 Stars – Classic (or Likely Future Classic), nigh-faultless & could potentially be considered…

10 Stars – Perfect! The best of the best!
